Vintage LEGO Pirates set 6276, Eldorado Fortress Build and Review

In this Brick Therapy session, I review one of my all time favorite LEGO sets, 6276 Eldorado Fortress. Notice I said all-time favorite, not just vintage Pirates or vintage LEGO.

This set brings back a lot of fond memories for me. It may be the first major LEGO set I purchased as an adult. It is also the set that would launch me into years of enjoyment and appreciation for the Pirates theme.

To be honest, I don't much care for the pirates. I was always jealous that they received the Black Seas Barracuda. In my LEGO universe, the BSB belonged to the Imperials.

In the early part of collecting the Imperial Soldiers and Guards, I would combine the forces because I didn't have enough of them. The Imperials would battle with not only the pirates, but with the Forestmen and the classic castle knights.

Before the pirates theme came out, LEGO did not have guns to my knowledge. I would use the torches or lances as guns. There were also some space pieces that worked as firearms also. Heck, even the metal detector ending us as a shooting weapon.

I could go on forever. Check out my video review here.
